Symposium

The Fearless Women Network is very pleased to present a lively and informative program addressing the pay equity challenge that the legal profession must meet.  "Harnessing the Competitive Advantage of Greater Diversity and Inclusion by Achieving Pay Equity" is the topic of our very first symposium, which will be held at the Acorn Club, 1519 Locust Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 24, 2014.  Registration will open at 8:30 am and the symposium will run from 9 am to noon.  A lunch, co-sponsored by the law firm of Young, Conaway, Stargatt & Taylor, LLP, will immediately follow the substantive portion of our program and will run from noon to 2 pm.

Bias and unequal pay are long-standing and pervasive concerns. The time is ripe to address them and bring about much-needed change; let’s capitalize on that momentum!  In our symposium, our speakers will discuss the solutions to be implemented.

The form of the presentations during our symposium will include a panel of judges and a panel of in-house counsel; additionally, a number of our speakers will offer individualized presentations.
